About this directory
What this directory is
United States Foreclosure Attorneys Guide is an independent directory of 188 foreclosure attorneys across the country, built for homeowners trying to figure out who to call when a foreclosure notice lands, and for anyone comparing local firms before picking up the phone. We are not a law firm, and we do not give legal advice. We organize public information about attorneys and firms so you can compare them quickly, then decide who to contact yourself.
How listings get built
Every listing starts from public business data: firm name, address, contact details, practice areas, and similar facts you could otherwise find scattered across a dozen sources. We layer that with a synthesis of recent Google reviews for each firm, summarizing what patterns of feedback look like over time. We do not republish review text, and we do not host reviews ourselves. If you want to read what people actually wrote, we link out to the firm’s Google listing so you can see it at the source.

How rankings are earned
Rankings come from a published rubric applied to that data, nothing else. No firm can pay to move up the list, and no firm can pay to move down a competitor. The full scoring method, including what we weigh and how, is public on our /methodology/ page, so you can check our work rather than take it on faith.
A listed firm can ask us to correct factual details, a wrong phone number, an outdated address, a missing practice area. What a firm cannot do is edit its own score, its sentiment summary, or its position in the rankings. Those come from the data and the rubric alone.
Sponsorship, clearly separated
Some pages include sponsored placements. These are always labeled “Sponsored,” shown in their own section apart from the earned rankings, and never blended into the ranked list itself. Paying for a sponsored slot has no effect on a firm’s score or its earned rank.
Where enquiries go
United States Foreclosure Attorneys Guide is an independent directory and comparison resource. We also generate enquiries for local providers: when you ask to be matched, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request and may receive a referral fee. Referral arrangements never affect scores or earned rankings.

Who runs this
This site is published by Meridian Guides, founded in 2025, which runs a network of independent local-service directories. Every Meridian Guides site scores businesses with a published method built on public customer reviews, labels sponsored placements clearly, and re-checks listings on a monthly cycle so pages don’t go stale. You can see the wider publisher at meridianguides.com, or reach the team directly at hello@meridianguides.com.
Editorial oversight of the rankings on this site sits with Janice, Editor. Data behind the listings is refreshed monthly, and each individual listing carries a “last verified” stamp so you can see it’s being actively maintained rather than left to rot.

FAQ
- Do sponsored listings rank higher?
- No. Sponsored placements are labeled and shown separately from the earned rankings. Paying for a sponsored slot never changes a firm's score or its position in the ranked list.
- Can a firm change its own rating?
- A firm can ask us to fix factual details like an address or phone number. It cannot edit its own score, sentiment summary, or ranking, since those come only from the published rubric and the underlying data.
- What happens when I ask to be matched with an attorney?
- We pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request and may receive a referral fee for doing so. This never affects any firm's score or earned ranking.
- How often is the data updated?
- The directory refreshes monthly, and each listing shows a last verified date so you can see when it was last checked.
